This Refund Policy explains how refunds work for Upspeakr’s online spoken English and drawing courses. We aim to provide a transparent and fair refund system for all students enrolling in our live online classes across India.

At Upspeakr, we strive to provide high-quality online education services. We understand that circumstances may change, and we have established the following refund and cancellation policy to ensure fairness to all our students.

1. Course Enrollment and Payment

Once you enroll in any course at Upspeakr and make the payment, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our course details, duration, and curriculum.

2. Refund Eligibility

2.1 Full Refund (100%)

Students are eligible for a full refund in the following cases:

• Cancellation request made within 24 hours of payment and before the first class
• Technical issues from our end that prevent course delivery and cannot be resolved within 48 hours
• Course cancellation by Upspeakr due to insufficient enrollments or instructor unavailability

2.2 Partial Refund (50%)

Students may be eligible for a 50% refund in the following cases:

• Cancellation request made after 24 hours but before the second class session
• Medical emergencies or unforeseen circumstances (subject to verification and approval)

2.3 No Refund

No refund will be provided in the following cases:

• Cancellation request made after attending two or more classes
• Course completion of more than 25% of total duration
• Violation of our Terms and Conditions or code of conduct
• Failure to attend classes without prior notification
• Change of mind after course commencement
• Personal reasons such as lack of time, motivation, or interest

3. Cancellation Process

To request a cancellation and refund:

1. Send an email to support@upspeakr.com with subject line "Refund Request - [Your Name] - [Course Name]"
2. Include your enrollment details, payment transaction ID, and reason for cancellation
3. Our team will review your request within 3-5 business days
4. You will receive a confirmation email regarding the approval or rejection of your refund request

4. Refund Processing Time

Once your refund request is approved:

• Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days
• The refund will be credited to the original payment method used during enrollment
• Bank processing times may vary (typically 5-7 business days after initiation)
• You will receive a confirmation email once the refund is processed

5. One-on-One Sessions

Special conditions apply for personalized one-on-one sessions:

• Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled session
• Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will not be refunded
• Rescheduling is allowed up to 2 times per booking
• No-shows without prior notice are non-refundable

6. Course Transfer Policy

Instead of a refund, students may opt to:

• Transfer to a different course of equal or lesser value
• Defer enrollment to a future batch (subject to availability)
• Transfer enrollment to another person (one-time only, subject to approval)

7. Technical Issues

If you experience technical difficulties:

• Contact our support team immediately during class hours
• We will provide recorded sessions if technical issues prevent live attendance
• No refunds will be issued for technical issues on the student's end (internet connectivity, device issues)

8. Promotional Discounts and Offers

• Courses purchased at discounted rates or through promotional offers follow the same refund policy
• Refund amount will be calculated based on the actual amount paid, not the original course price

9. Payment Gateway Charges

Please note that payment gateway charges and processing fees are non-refundable and will be deducted from the refund amount where applicable.
